You often ask Crickee Team for information about how to leave your wireless provider without ETF (Early Termination Fee).

There are few solutions. Last month we introduced you CellSwapper (remember! ).
As far as we know, an other way is to pay close attention to the fine print in any contract updates your carrier sends you.

If you are an US T-mobile user, read this post quickly and act! You only have until tomorrow June 1!

As explained via Intomobile, T-mobile US is planning to increase SMS text messaging rates as of June 1 of 2007. "This is usually sufficient grounds to cancel your service contract without an ETF, but this time it's a little different - T-mobile is increasing the per-message SMS rates while decreasing the MMS rates. Still, T-mobile Terms of Service (TOS) clearly outlines your right to cancel your contract - it's all about how you approach it."

Follow step by step the way Intomobile suggests, your own experience may vary, but these general guidelines should help you navigate through the maze of smoke and mirrors that is T-mobile's retention policy.

If you are currently dissatisfied with your cell phone or plan, or simply want to cancel your current service, there are not many viable ways to get out of your contract.
CellSwapper.com has developed a system to keep both cellular consumers and carriers happy. Through its patent pending system, CellSwapper allows millions of unhappy cellular users to transfer their contract to another consumer for the remainder of the contract period. The consumer is fully absolved of all responsibility and is free to initiate a new plan with a different carrier.
As for today the service is USA available only, but should evolve soon.
Cellswapper co-founder Adam Korbl says that there are about 260 wireless contracts for sale on an average day at his site, and that about 100 contracts are purchased each week. Chance it!

For example, in January, Verizon offered some of its customers an opportunity to quit their cell plans and pay no termination fees because it raised the rates on its text message service, thereby changing the terms of the contract. This tip is worlwilde available!

Consider this anomaly: Ecuador, with a per capita GDP of $4,300, has the United States beat when it comes to a critical wireless technology. Americans may be 10 times as wealthy, but Ecuadorians send four times as many text messages!!!!

It is a bit of chance that Crickee is also in Spanish ! Let's adopt it there?

Very useful but it's a pity that there is no info about data communication.

Why are we working so hard at Crickee?

Things are getting wild, and that's good news for you. Just check out this Fon.com podcast, European head of Fon, is talking... In France alone, it estimates at 400,000 the number of Free wifi hotspots you'll get.by the end of 2006.. isn't it nice??? They also have in the pipe to sign with a second, major ISP for getting Fon as the default system for it... knowing that they're talking with Free... follow our sight..
What it means for you? It means you won't have to rely on Mobile data plans, tarifs and speed for too long in your Crickee experience... getting faster, richer, cheaper services over time.
