This week Crickee carries a torch for Scott Hendison from SearchCommander, a blog about search marketing, Google, the internet, and more.

Scott is an SEO expert, and the CEO of Search Commander. He is a former Portland computer store retailer that built a Portland computer repair business through Pay Per Click and organic search engine optimization.
In 2003, he started focusing exclusively on internet marketing, and today serves the needs of clients in 5 countries, who find him on the front page of most search engines for "internet consultant" and related phrases.

MySpace vs Facebook, Who Will Win The Battle of Communities?

Meanwhile MySpace is finally announcing the acquisition of Photobucket - for a price of $250 million, Facebook has completely changed the game with the launch of Facebook Platform.

Well, as rightly exposed by Mashable now we have Facebook that welcomes outside development, versus MySpace that has its unpredictable approach to embedded widgets and no formal system for developers to go through.
Even if Photobucket is one of the popular add-on, will it be attractive enough compared to hundreds of apps now in development for Facebook?

One of the many things Crickee has learnt by listening to you is the fact that you want to keep the possibility to choose.
It sounds Facebook is a better listener than MySpace ;-)
