Something to think about: The Many Perils of Over-Studying

Thanks to Joanna and Half eBay, Crickee is now aware of the dangers of over-studying.

And you what do you think about? In any case among the many perils of studying, is it more dangerous to over or under studying?

Which pic should I choose to illustrate my profile?

“We regret to inform you that under of our terms of use, the pic you chose to illustrate your profile had to be removed. Thank you for your comprehension.”

If you received this message from the Crickee Tech support, your pic does not enter into our box! Not because of its dimensions (2 maximum Mb) nor of its format (GIF or JPEG) but because of its contents. And frankly, when you put this pic of you totally nude, what were you thinking about ? ;-)

Pic_crickee_2

It is never easy to fix rules and more than that to fix limits inside these rules. We thus chose to base our rules upon the French legislation as for the general framework and on the good sense for the particular cases. Thus here the Crickee Law that no one is supposed to be unaware of!

All pics are accepted sofar as they do not present :

  • no character inciting to acts forbidden by French Law
  • no pornographic, no obscene situation, wounding or degrading for the dignity of the person, because of the explicit or implicit presence of elements of constraint, physical or psychological violence.
  • no character inciting to Community hatred with the willing to legitimate marginalisation, exclusion, or destruction of someone or his community.

In summary, choose a pic of your best profile, and present yourself in a favorable light!

If you do not have the copyright of a photo, do not use it in your profile. In addition to the fact that it is illegal to use documents you don't own, post a pic of another that oneself induces others in error. You can of course post modified photo of yourself, but do not seek to mislead other users.

Note : If you are the real Paris Hilton or the real Ben Afflek, please forgive us for doubting about your sincerity and explain us why you've got so many accounts on Crickee ;-)

If you do not wish to present a pic of you, then, feel free to be creative while respecting the rules stated here. As a last resort and although we do not have any will nor vocation of censor, the final choice to accept or not your pic remains to Crickee. And recall, behind the pic of others as behind yours there are true people of real life ;-)

Note: If you have any hesitation regarding the choice of a pic or if the content of a pic offended you on Crickee, do not hesitate to contact the support to ask for your questions or to report an abuse.

A visit to Crickee Technical Support

Techsupport_5

Alexandra decided to visit periodically the various Crickee services.

Today, to the technical support, to see Tom what are the most frequent requests.

- Alexandra: Hi Tom, which request is the most frequent in your emails this week?

- Tom: If I exclude who is Crickee, a girl or a boy, and what is Alexandra's mobile number, the most frequent request relates to the download of the Crickee java app.

- Alexandra: Well, we both know that Crickee is censured and that my number is censured. On the other hand can you point out the "how to adopt Crickee" in a mobile phone?

On May 10, 2008, sites in Cairo, Dharamsala, Jerusalem, Kigali, London, New York City, Ramallah and Rio de Janeiro will be linked to produce a 4-hour program of powerful films, visionary speakers, and uplifting music. To register as a film-maker, to get more ideas about film submissions, or to host a screening or learn how you can get involved, please visit Pagea Day website at http://www.pangeaday.org.

*Pangea is the name of the original super-continent which contained all the world's land mass before the continents started splitting apart 250 million years ago.
