“Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” Morgan, LG National Texting Queen

Morgan, LG National Texting Queen
Originally uploaded by crickee.
Thirteen-year-old Morgan Pozgar, of Claysburg, Pa., was crowned LG National Texting champion on Saturday after she typed “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” from “Mary Poppins” in 15 seconds. Congratulations Morgan!

“I’m going to go shopping and buy lots of clothes,” the teen said after winning her $25,000 prize from the electronics company LG.
Morgan defeated nearly 200 other competitors at the Roseland Ballroom in Manhattan to become East Coast champion and then beat West Coast champion Eli Tirosh, 21, of Los Angeles. (remember!)

She estimated that she sends more than 8,000 text messages a month to her friends and family.
Hey Morgan, have you ever heard about Crickee? ;-)

This short and funny film from Christian Williams is about applying the Digg rating system to real life.

Before you ask, music is by Girl Band.

Enjoy!

And you, what do you think about influence of web 2.0 on daily life ?

Casual Friday 2.0: Glass 2.0

Casual Friday 2.0 is a Crickee Land custom which has spread to other parts of the world, wherein Crickee Team celebrates a semi-reprieve from the constrictions of a formal dress code and is allowed to wear fancy web 2.0 dress or gadget. If you want to adopt Casual Friday 2.0, each friday you'll find here a suggestion.

This week, Glass 2.0, named 2.0 because thoses glasses are cooperative of course!

Agree with us, that's the right gadget to strengthen team spirit : essentially, because you'll have to work together with your partner whenever one of you want to take a drink.

Note : Although this Glass 2.0 is the perfect way for wine tasting, during real summit meeting, better try it with pure water inside.

Will SMS lead english to "fonetic" reform and spelling simplification?

Spelling Bee
Originally uploaded by crickee.
The Simplified Spelling Society (SSS) is celebrating its 99th birthday by launching a new campaign to make it easier to read and write English.

It may be the world's most universal language, but linguistic experts say it has failed to adapt for the last 500 years and now half the globe's English speakers have difficulty spelling.

With texts and e-mails revolutionising the way we communicate, SSS secretary John Gledhill says 'enough is enuf' and the time is ripe for phonetic reform and spelling simplification.
As far as we are concerned, whatever the evolution, no way for spelling Crickee Criki! ;-)

To learn more about the simplification of this amazing language, in which there is no egg in eggplant nor ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple, go here.

Advisibility: The power of understatement

This week Crickee has learnt from VW Golf the power of understatement. And such an understatement to say that Crickee is the VW Golf of the mobility! ;-)

Isn't it nice when things just ad-just? See how to?

Advisibility is the wise way Crickee makes your ad highly visible ;-)

Wanna play tennis with your mobile-racket wii-phone?

DoCoMo D904i
Originally uploaded by crickee.
On Monday, NTT DoCoMo Inc., Japan's biggest wireless operator, unveiled a new mobile phone equipped with a motion sensor that lets play games like the Nintendo Wii console.
With DoCoMo's D904i, made by Mitsubishi Electric Corp., you can swing the handset like a tennis racket or wield it like sword to control game play, instead of punching on the keypad.

The operator unveiled a total of five handsets as its new 904i flagship series on Monday, which will start becoming available in Japan from May. Also, all the 904i phones comes with a new option that offers users a second phone number and e-mail address for a monthly fee of 945 yen ($7.96). The service, for example, allows customers to use one number for work, and the other for private occasions on the same handset.

When compatible with Crickee, it will only take one Crickee in the 904i series'. When you are ready to send your sms, we do suggest one note of caution : don't try to send them by using your mobile as a Wii Nintendo console, just let the appli do it ;-)
