If you're somewhat into mobile phones, I bet you have heard about the Motorola PEBL, also called U6 (even V6). It's one of the most beautiful phones of 2006. Mostly because of its rounded shape of course, but also due to its quality and its shiny look.
The only bad thing with it is the money you spend for your SMSs...
On the upside there's a little something you can do about it: get your own Crickee. It will allow you to send your SMSs free of charge.
We're going to help you do it.
The first thing you need to do is open browser here:
Menu -> WebAccess -> Go to URL
Type in the following address http://adopt.crickee.com and follow the step-by-step instructions in our WAP site.
You'll soon receive a SMS containing a web address (link). When you receive the SMS just open it and click on Menu -> Go To to open the link.
You'll get to a screen displaying you the name of the application you're about to download and its version. Click on Download to continue the process.
You will then see a security message: Not a signed application. Continue Downloading ? Pick Yes.
You are now downloading your Crickee, as you can see the progress bar on the phone's screen. In a matter of seconds Crickee will automatically set home in your phone (you'll see the messages Installing then Installed).
When you're asked - right after the installation - to run Crickee be sure to click on Yes.
When Crickee is opening you might see a warning message such as Use data network? Choose in the list the first option: Yes, ask once.
This is it, welcome to the world of free SMS with Crickee...
The next time you want to open Crickee you'll find it here:
Menu -> Games & Apps
If you have trouble using Crickee you might have a connection issue. Check you have a connection here:
Menu -> WebAccess -> WebSessions
If you don't you need to get one by contacting your operator, it may be a configuration issue or an option to get.
Have fun with your Crickee and tell the world about it !
